Music festival lovers from across the country enjoyed the Coke side of life this summer, as Demonstrate launched its very first “Happiness Clinic”. Unsuspecting visitors of dozens of music festivals were caught off-guard by the enchanting apparition of sexy ‘happiness nurses’ and ‘doctors’, treating them to hundreds of thousands (!!) Coke bottles (including ‘happy prescription’) to quench their thirst and a number of on the spot ‘happy treatments’ to soothe body and soul. These ‘treatments’ included refreshing water sprays, soothing suntan oil treatments, Twister games and even body-to-body massages. Patients were provided with hot showers and 15-minute power naps to recover from the daily wear and tear of life on the festival site in the “Happiness Field Clinic”. A unique experience, unless you have Tool playing live next to your shower every day. At the annual City Parade dance-fest, Demonstrate even rolled out a huge Happiness Truck with hospital beds that could be airlifted to the roof by using a built-in crane. Several members of the media have raised more than one question about this new ‘field practice’. The ‘Coke happy treatments’ even made national front-page news for a while. Happy authority Demonstrate says feedback from visitors/patients has been great and hopes the project will live on and spread Coke happiness throughout the land. |
