Madonna in Paris

Sometimes the only way to relax is to board a party bus, drive to Paris, watch a superstar get crucified on a huge disco cross and then drive back while getting hammered and singing karaoke until 5 in the morning. So that’s what we did. A busload of lucky D8 crewmembers was shipped off to Paris for an unforgettable show by Madonna, the undisputed Queen of Pop and controversy. Wasting no time, we got the party started on the bus, cranked up the laser show and every time we parked, the built-in sound system and dry ice turned the parking lot into an instant club. But that was just peanuts compared to Madonna’s extravaganza. We marvelled at the purple yoga outfit from the ‘Hung Up’ video, admired Lady M.’s equestrian skills when she mounted her dancers on a shimmering silver saddle and sang/shouted/screamed along to ‘Holiday’ until our throats went sore.
